Saturday was opening day at the zoo. I wasn't sure what that would mean for crowds, but it was a lovely morning so we went soon after it opened for the morning. We enjoyed a very uncrowded zoo with animals that seemed very excited to see people after the long winter.
The ring tailed lemurs seemed especially interested in us...whose watching who??
Two of the wallaby mamas had joeys in their pouches, you can see one here if you look closely.
The red pandas were more active than we've seen them, although this picture doesn't really convey that.
The zoo is a great place to run around, especially when it's not crowded.
Ezra was pretty interested in the goats, and they seemed happy to see people too.
We also played with the water table again, this time in some cooler temperatures.
