Random Trip Pictures and Winnemucca

I had a few more pictures from my phone to include.  First a couple from the wedding:

Ezra fell asleep on the way out of Yosemite, after just one bite of his cheese stick

We left Lake Tahoe Saturday morning and drove through Carson City and Reno.  We made a couple stops in Reno and then drove on to Winnemucca.  Our good friends that moved away now live near Winnemucca and were able to come meet us for lunch (it's still an hour drive for them, so we were super happy they were willing to do that!).  Tim got stuck working, but we were so happy to see Elizabeth and her kids.  Emmett and Gideon met when Emmett was one day shy of 4 months and Gideon was just hours old (here).  It has been nearly 2 years since they saw eachother and it was fun to see them take off playing together.  Titus and Ezra didn't remember of course and we were happy to meet Hosanna!

After a fun time of playing we had to hit the road in order to get back home.  It took a good 7 more hours to get home.  Now it's been a week and we are settling back into our routine.  Pre-school started for Emmett, Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) started for me and the boys on Tuesdays, a new small group through church for young families is starting up and I have been enjoying a book club that I joined a few months ago.  Emmett is counting the days until his birthday (I haven't planned a thing and better get on the ball!) and hoping to do swimming or another sport this fall.  Jim has some really big projects at work keeping him busy and I am working on the re-accreditation of the ultrasound department for 2 facilities and planning to fill in some for a maternity leave and surgery for 2 of my co-workers.

We have such wonderful memories of this trip. But with Emmett's 5th birthday I went back to what you wrote in 2010. You loved his personality and he filled your heart with joy. You mentioned how smart he is and his memory. Also that he would "listen and obey. Hopefully he is teaching Ezra the "rockin version of the ABC's". It would be great to write him another letter:) He is a wonderful, loving, incredible person! Grandma T
