We have continued to keep busy the last few weeks. September 30th was Emmett's five year check up and Jim took him. He is growing and healthy with no concerns. He was pretty glad that he already had his shots over with (remember
this). His weight was 37.2lbs which is the 25th percentile and his height was 43 1/2 inches which is the 65th percentile. After work that evening we met at a new locally owned restaurant for a quick dinner and then we went to the Idaho Falls Symphony family concert. Friday night Emmett and I went to a potluck for our young families group from church, Ezra was sounding a little sick so Jim stayed home with him. Saturday we went to the movie theater and saw Planes. It was the first movie theater experience for our kids. Emmett loved it and Ezra did pretty well but wasn't nearly as into it.

The next week our local fire stations were having open houses all week long. We chose to go to the airport fire station to see their equipment. There weren't many people there, so we got a good tour and first choice of the cookies. I had told the boys that we didn't need to get fire hats this year because we have plenty at home, but they convinced me that they needed pink hats since we don't have any.
Saturday there was a Cycle Cross Bike Race in Victor, ID that we went to. Jim raced and although he hasn't been training, he was able to achieve his goal of not being lapped. Both boys did the kids "race" and ended up doing multiple laps because they didn't want to stop. Emmett ended up riding the entire course with Jim's help. The kids got carrots as their prizes, which was a little iffy, but they ended up thinking it was cool.

That same weekend was the train show downtown, so we made a quick trip on Sunday after church.

| In the basement is the local club's permanent display, they have historic pictures that they use to create a historically accurate display of the local region. |

And then we had another busy week which had me out at activities Monday and Wednesday nights (all the guys partied at home without me there...seriously though, the kids were bathed and asleep when I got home, good job Jim). Friday morning we had a playdate at our house, but most of our friends were out of town or sick. Friday evening we took dinner to some friends that just had a baby and stayed to eat with them and let the kids play. Saturday we had a leisurely morning at home and then went to Costco. The weather was pretty nice over the weekend and the boys spent lots of time on their bikes.
