We celebrated New Years Eve at home, watched some movies, snacked, and watched the ball drop in Times Square. The best movie of the evening was Gran Turismo, which got 2 thumbs up from everyone in the family. Early in January the boys caught a seemingly injured duck. Elliott named the duck Princess. I provided them with a box, lettuce, water and a hot water bottle. The duck spent the night on our porch and seemed a little more healthy/feisty in the morning. We changed out the hot water bottle a few times and eventually the duck got out of the box, and hung around our front porch. By the evening the duck left, and we felt like we helped rehabilitate it.
We skied at Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole as a family. Ezra decided that he would rather stay home with the dog on our future ski trips. This works out ok for day trips (saves some money not having to board the dog), but we drag him along on weekend trips and he has decided that he's happier in the lodge than on the slopes for these.

We went rock climbing and bowling, good indoor activities for cold winter days. Elliott also did the Nerf War at church, although the other boys decided they were too old for it this year.

We spent another day at Jackson Hole, this time leaving Ezra home with the dog.
