Emmett had his 6 month check at the pediatrician on Tuesday. He has had a little cold that seemed to be getting better, so I was glad to have the doctor give him a thorough check. There has been a lot of RSV here, but the doctor said he looked and sounded good, I was reassured to hear that his lungs sounded clear.
He is 15lb 5.5oz and 26 inches long. That is only about the 10th percentile for weight and the 60th for height, so he is long and lean for now. We have been looking for a bike helmet for Emmett so we can put him in a bike trailer this summer...it's pretty hard to find a helmet for a head that small! The doctor said he is definitely big enough for a bike trailer, so now we just have to find a good helmet.
And if you haven't noticed, Emmett is sitting! He is so proud of himself, although he still seems to prefer standing. Below you can see the bandaids from his 3 shots, he did great with them.
