We left for Oregon on Friday, July 2nd in the early afternoon after Jim worked a half day. Emmett did a great job traveling, I got him a few new books and they kept him very entertained. We got to Jim's parent's around 2am. On Saturday we met Jim's Sister and Winn and Audrey at Burgerville on our way up to visit Grandma K. We also made a stop to pick strawberries.
On Sunday we went to church with Jim's parents and then headed out to the Springer Reunion picnic at Cecil Park. Emmett got to spend time throwing rocks into the creek and playing with his 2nd cousins.

After the picnic we went for a tour of the tree farm and then headed back to Jim's parents house for some fireworks. The fireworks were just right for Emmett. The most exciting one was the sparklers.
