Miniature Golfing

We went miniature golfing with Jim's work group this weekend.  They occasionally get money for "morale events" and this was a nice family friendly one.  All but one from his group made it, great turnout.  But there is only one other person in his group that has kids, strange.
Emmett started off every hole for us.
The course we went to was about 30 minutes from town, out by our local ski hill.  It was beautiful weather and a fun place to be.  We broke into 3 teams.  Our team was very patient with our family, thankfully.

Ezra got in on the action too

Ezra was our family's official ball holder
It was a really nice course, lots of shade and interesting challenges like a slide, outhouse, covered bridge, etc.
Putting through the covered bridge.
I thought I did really good for trying to keep Ezra under control and play a round.  I even got a hole in one!

Emmett gave Riley some pointers
After golf Emmett was a little sad because he didn't win a prize.  The kids from the other family sort of melted down too.  The next stop was pizza and that made everything better.  After pizza the plan was to go swimming at the hot springs pool, but those of us with families decided not to torture everyone else with our kids who were very ready for naps.  We hadn't talked about the swimming with Emmett, so that helped us make a clean break.  We'll have to head out there again sometime to swim.
