Sunday we went to church with Jim's parents. Emmett and Ezra got to be in the same Sunday School class which I think may be the first time they've ever been together in a class. We had a good time visiting with people there and had a relaxing afternoon. Monday was Christmas Eve and we headed over to my parents house. My sister and brother-in-law were only able to come down for 2 days so we spent that time with my family. Something I had wanted to do was watch old family movies so my mom got those out and we watched quite a bit of those. We also did some last minute shopping and my mom watched the boys and put them to bed so the rest of us could go to a great Christmas Eve service. The Christmas Eve service was at an old theater and put on by five different churches.

Waiting for the others to get up so we can open stockings
Christmas morning didn't start too early, and once everyone was up we did stockings. The boys really liked opening stockings and seemed really interested in the things they got. After stockings we had breakfast
Emmett always wants to cuddle for a while first thing in the morning
We had scones, eggs and bacon for breakfast. After breakfast we got dressed and then moved on to presents.
Well, most of us got dressed, apparently not my mom.
The boys stayed engaged as we all took turns opening presents. They got so many fun things and of course wanted to play with each one of them right away. After presents we watched more family movies and there was some napping going on. Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs, a favorite for many. Mark and Mikaylee had to leave right after dinner, so we said our goodbyes and then packed up to go back over to Jim's parents.
