I forgot to post this picture of the pizza that Jim made on Valentine's day. It was delicious! He also got me flowers the day after Valentine's when he had time to go to the store AND the flowers were on sale. Love that practical and frugal guy :-)
The 27th was Jim's birthday and it was a busy day. We both worked and then had 15 minutes at home before it was time to take Emmett to basketball. When Emmett and I got home Jim got to open presents. After the boys were in bed we enjoyed some chocolate coconut banana cream pie.

Next up was Ezra's birthday! My mom arrived on the 28th and I had her come pick up the boys from daycare with me as a surprise (they knew she was coming to visit soon, but not that day). We celebrated Ezra's birthday on the 1st. His party was scheduled that day and we decided to do all the birthday stuff that day. The house was all decorated when he came down in the morning. We started with crepes for breakfast and then going to pre-school open gym at the rec center and then to the library. Then it was time for lunch and naps. Emmett brought the Mickey Mouse mylar balloon up and Ezra was really excited to see that after his nap.

| my Mom did a great job completing these pinterest inspired mickey cookie pops! |
Ezra started opening presents, although he was a little distracted by the Mickey balloon. He seemed pretty excited about everything he got. Emmett was pretty excited about everything too. A good time to be thankful for a brother to share all these cool toys!
Knowing that there would be plenty of toys we decided to get Ezra a sleeping bag and camping chair. The boys were sure to test the sleeping bag out. I also made a "family tree" picture for his room.

Grandma and Grandpa Springer sent this adorable police cozy coupe...Jim got it all put together and the boys "found it" together. Pretty exciting to have a car to "drive" around.
We got done with presents and picking up pizzas just in time for the party with friends. It was a small party, but plenty chaotic with 8 little people. We had 6 adults, so that's a pretty good ratio.

| Are Warren's sisters not the cutest! 6 of the 8 children are visible in this picture (all but Warren and Emmett) |

It was a great day with lots of celebrating and kids who are such a joy to be around. Many thanks to my Mom and Jim for helping get the party all put together!

and now I'll try again. Jim will be in his thirties for a long more time:) He's not even in his mid thirties! And Ezra is a wonderful 2 year old.
