The boys slept pretty well after their busy day in LEGOLAND and early night. We ate breakfast at our hotel and then went to California Adventure. We thought we could use our Magic Morning early entry there, but as it turns out it was only good for early entry at Disneyland. So we hung out for a while before we got in. I went straight to the Radiator Racers Fast Pass line as I had heard that was the thing to do. Jim and Emmett took off for a bigger ride and my Mom and Ezra went to the Ferris Wheel I think. I had an app that we had used to map out our days at Disney and also had line wait times, food info, etc.
After some time on Paradise Pier we went to Cars Land and did Luigi's Flying Tires, hovercraft style bumper cars. Then we ate lunch at Flo's Diner. Jim, Emmett and my Mom then used their fast passes for Radiator Racers and Ezra and I walked around Cars Land and he got to meet Lightening McQueen.
We went back to Paradise Pier to do the Toy Story Midway Mania which is a ride that takes you through all these 3D galleries that had targets to shoot at. It was a really long line, but super fun. If the line hadn't been so long we would have done it again. We walked through A Bug's Land and went to the Aladdin show at the Hyperion theater. Then I hung out in A Bug's Land with the boys while Jim and my Mom went on California Screamin' with fast passes.
When we were together again we went to a Disney Jr. Live on Stage show. My kids mostly recognized Mickey Mouse clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. It was a cute show and pretty interactive.
Then we found a spot to watch the Disney Pixar Parade. It was all the movies that my kids know and Ezra especially was impressed by all the characters.
We went on a Monster Inc ride after the parade and then went and had dinner. After Dinner we rode the red trolley and then went back to A Bug's Land so that Emmett could ride the bumper cars and then over to Cars Land for Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
Then we went and watched the World of Color show. Jim held our spot and we jumped in line for the Little Mermaid ride. The World of Color show was amazing, way bigger than we were expecting. It involved lots of water shooting into the air and used as a giant screen to project scenes from movies on. There were also fire elements and of course music. Ezra was tired enough to fall asleep while I was holding him. Emmett stayed awake, but we could tell he was pretty tired, so we layered them in the stroller and they both slept the whole way home. Putting sleeping children in pajamas became pretty normal protocol at the hotel. It took about 20 minutes to walk from the entrance of the parks to our hotel.
