We had another fun pilgrimage to Oregon to visit family. The boys did really good on the way there, did some activity books, watched a few movies, jammed to some music, and slept a little. We took a lot more highway than freeway. They really liked their beanie babies from McDonalds.
We first stayed with my parents for a few days. The weather was a little wet and dreary, but we went to parks, rode on the city bus, played in their yard quite a bit, read books and played with all their fun toys. Jim and I got to go on a run together and do some shopping without kids. The boys enjoyed watching the OSU Beaver baseball team win two nights in a row (on TV) to earn a spot in the college world series. We also went to the college's basketball court to watch cousin Winn play in a tournament. We went to church with my parents on Sunday and I got to take my Dad out for an early Father's Day lunch.
