Elliott turned three on Labor Day. It was a fun day to celebrate him. He spent the day opening and then playing with presents. Jim set up a great scavenger hunt to find one of his gifts and the boys loved working together and going all over the house, garage and yard to find each clue. We had Strawberry cupcakes with Strawberry frosting. We also went down to a man-made creek that the boys love to "race" their boats down. We ended the day with dinner out at the Olive Garden because Elliott wanted Spaghetti.

The next weekend we went camping. Jim ended up having to work late on Friday, so we didn't go until Saturday morning. Our Sunday School class from church had a group site at Big Elk Creek. We had hiked there early on in the summer. The creek was raging when we were there before, but now it was much calmer and the Kokanee were spawning. We had a great time with our friends and looking forward to hopefully camping more next summer.
