Winter has been mild and is flying by. Jim took President's day off to stay home with the kids. Even though the temperature was only in the teens, there was no snow on the ground so they went and had lunch at Wendy's and then played at a park that is about 15 miles north of us. We hadn't been to the park in quite a while and they had some really fun new play equipment.

Jim has been taking Emmett and Ezra skiing as much as he can, but the snow hasn't been all that great. We went up as a family one afternoon/evening and there was quite a bit of dirt showing through. Jim has been a great teacher and Emmett and Ezra are quite the skiers now. Elliott has gotten to ski a couple times too and hopefully we will get him caught up so we can ski as a family soon. Then end of February/beginning of March brought some good storms and Jim and I were able to sneak away one afternoon to ski for a few hours. According to Jim it was the best the snow has been all year and we had a blast! We practically had the place to ourselves, just a handful of cars in the parking lot.
