In February Emmett went to a girls choice Sweethearts dance at a local high school with a group of friends. They had a fun day date to play pickleball and go to lunch, and then after getting ready they did pictures, dinner, the dance, and an after party. I had a breast biopsy based on finding something on my mammogram and ultrasound. It was benign, but a good reminder to look after all of our health and something I deal with at work every day with my patients. Jim had a cold come on and got nervous that it was timed exactly like his cold last February that developed into Pneumonia. He went to his doctor and got on antibiotics and he healed up pretty quickly.

We took a trip to St. George, UT for a soccer tournament. We had a girl from church come to our house to dog sit and Everest had a much less stressful time getting to stay in our home. Emmett and Elliott both played in the tournament and we had 8 games in total over 3 days. Elliott's team was champions in their bracket and Emmett's team got 2nd place. We had great weather up until the very last game and then it got really windy and rainy. We also did some hiking there, and Jim's sister Beth was in Las Vegas and she drove up to watch a couple games too!

Elliott wrapped up his Olympic Development Soccer season and was chosen for the West Regional Camp held this summer in Salt Lake City. He was chosen based on his performance at the Arizona tournament, which was when he was playing with a newly broken toe, so we are especially impressed with him. I actually thought the email about the camp was for all ODP kids, but luckily his club coach saw that he had been chosen and informed us that it was a big honor. That kid always has a soccer ball that he is kicking around the house.

Ezra continued to have lots of speech and debate tournaments. Emmett took a trip to Utah with a friend to ski and then tour Utah State University and attend a basketball game there. We celebrated Jim's birthday.
