The weather here is notoriously bad on Halloween, but I'd have to say that it was pretty nice today. We didn't do much...took a walk, played in the backyard, read, and carved the pumpkin. Emmett likes to "help" me when it comes to vacuuming (I give him a hand tool to use) and he showed today that he likes to rake leaves too.
He likes raking so much, in fact, that when we tried to get him to play in the leaves he was quite upset.
So we let him come inside and do something else that he enjoys...sweeping.
Oh, and to mix things up a bit, tonight he was a leopard again, but this time the leopard dressed up as monster. Can you see the green mask on the leopard's head? Yep, have you ever seen a kid dressed up as something, and that something was dressed up as something else? Pretty amazing. And here's our jack-o-lantern.
Happy Halloween, and now let the holiday season begin!
