A day with Dad

Jim had a day off on a day that I was working, which barely ever happens.  He took the boys to the zoo in the morning and got some good pictures of the animals.
One of the baby animals this year is a ring-tail lemur.  It is in both of the pictures below, but a little hard to see because it still sticks very close to its mom.

Also have 3 baby black swans and baby ducks.

Jim also took the boys to the skate park so that Emmett could get more practice on hills and such with his bike.
The next day was Jim's company picnic.  We spent the first part of the picnic doing the bounce houses.  There were three bounce houses, a simple one for the littler kids, a big slide that both boys loved, and an obstacle course that Ezra couldn't do quite on his own.  Emmett loved the obstacle course and Ezra did it once or twice with Jim.  The lines started to get long so we headed over to get food.  I decided that the face painting line didn't look too long, so we stood in line for that.  Jim went to stand in line for food after he saw how long it was.  Unfortunately Emmett decided he really needed to go to the bathroom after we'd both been in line for about half an hour and Jim lost his place in the food line to take him.  After a deceivingly long wait both boys got their faces painted and they ended up so cute.  We eventually got food and then watched a little of the softball game.  Emmett and Jim stood in line for a balloon shaped like a sword.  We didn't get many pictures, but their faces were so cute!
