Disney California Adventure Day 4

Our final day and we were able to get up at 6am one last time.  We got our online boarding group for Webslingers.  We were in plenty of time for rope drop and went straight to Radiator Racers again.  After we rode it once Jim took Elliott to do some other things (like meeting Lightning McQueen) while Emmett, Ezra and I rode Radiator Racers from the single riders line, so much quicker.

We went to Pixar Pier and did Jumpin Jelly Fish, Toy Story Midway Mania, Silly Symphony Swings and Goophy's Sky School.  It was time for our boarding group for Webslingers, so we headed over.  We asked about the wait time and were told 45-60 minutes and so we voted to just skip it.  We saw some Avenger characters and got out some snacks and got some nachos from Studio Catering Co.  We went and did Soarin' and also Grizzly River Rapids.  We let Emmett do single rider on Grizzly River and he rode it 3 times in the time it took us to ride it once.

Emmett found this kid with "Emmett" on his back and ran up
for a picture with his "Springer" shirt.  The kid had no idea.

We went to the Animation Academy building and walked through that and went to the Beast's Library.  Beth had told me about that and I had never been before.  The computers in there do a short quiz and tell you what Disney character you are.  We did the Monster's Inc ride.  I noticed that there are smells in the Monster's Inc ride...you can smell ginger in the sushi restaurant and the locker room also had a smell.  I've never noticed this before and found it sort of strange that I noticed the year I had to wear a mask on the ride.  We also watched Mickey's Philharmagic which we've never done before.

Beast's Library, thanks for the tip Beth!
We got dinner from the Pym Test Kitchen in Avenger Land.  It claims to use the revolutionary shrink and grow technology of Pym Particles from Ant Man and the Wasp.  Ezra really wanted to get food from there.  Elliott had a banana smoothie, I had a peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich, and the other 3 got pym-ini sandwiches.  We split up and Ezra and I did Guardians of the Galaxy and the Incredicoaster.  While we did that Emmett rode Radiator Racers single rider and Jim and Elliott went to do some rides on Pixar Pier.

Ezra and I found Cruz Ramirez from Cars 3

Look what the net dragged in!

We also saw lots of characters in the parks.  They were all with handlers and mostly interacting from roped off areas and keeping distance from people.  But they were still fun to see and always bring a smile to your face.

The boys and Jim rode Goofy's Sky School 2 times in a row while I sat and relaxed.  Then we headed over to ride Radiator Racers as our last thing before the park closed.  The ride was closed when we got to it, but that happens occasionally throughout the day so we waited to see if it would open.  Sure enough it opened and while the line was fairly long, it went pretty quickly.  We got on the ride just before 9pm, which is closing time, and also the time the Disneyland fireworks start.  We were able to see the fireworks from the ride and it was SO cool.  Cars Land is all lit up at night and they light the red rock so it is really intense and beautiful.

We may have fallen asleep on the ride, haha

After the ride the park was technically closed and they spend who knows how long clearing the place.  We scrambled to get a few more pictures on the way out.
