Saturday we went to the beach. Since we grew up so near the beach we always took it for granted, now that it's far away it is a little bit more of a luxury. We went to Pacific City and North, stopping at a couple of beaches. The fog stayed just off shore, but it was crazy windy. We got good use out of the jogging stroller, it has a weather cover so Emmett was pretty snug and out of the wind. He even took a nap in it...we were all jealous of his comfy cocoon. We stopped by the Tilamook Cheese Factory and had some yummy ice cream. They have a great observation area to watch the cheese making process, but unfortunately they don't work on Saturdays. We also took a short hike into a big waterfall. After getting back to the valley we went to A&W with Jim's parents. They had a jukebox and Emmett really enjoyed rocking out in the highchair.
