We are back from our great trip to Oregon. We had fantastic weather, saw a lots of family and friends, and got to do so many fun things! Jim did a great job of capturing the trip in pictures, there are so many good pictures that I'm having trouble figuring out which ones to post. I think I'll try to do multiple posts to recap the trip, it was just that good!
The trip started out Friday evening, we left home just before 7pm. Emmett fell asleep 30 minutes into the drive (about his normal bedtime) and pretty much slept the whole way to Portland. When he woke up we just gave him a bottle and he'd go right back to sleep. We arrived in Portland around 4am and got to crash at Aunt Dee and Uncle Jim's home while my mom took care of Emmett. When we got up we spent time with my mom and sister. Then my Uncle Ken and Aunt Ellen came over to meet Emmett and catch up. We went to lunch and then went to see our college friends Dave and Kristine and their two kids. Around 4pm we headed to my Uncle Michael and Aunt Diane's home. My cousin MB was there too. We spent time outside soaking up the beautiful weather and had a fabulous meal. That night we drove back to Corvallis. Here are some pictures from Saturday.

We are going on a roadtrip to Texas this summer. I am a little nervous about driving that far with Emery, but it is our usual way of traveling so he will have to get used to it a guess. Did you drive all night because of Emmett? We are thinkign about driving until 12 or 1 each night just so we can get those 5 hours in after his bed time. I hope that it works out :)
